About Alex

Give me a shot, or 36.

Alex Goldstein got her start in film photography in her early teens when she took photography classes at the Glassell School of Art in Houston, Texas. Using her grandfather's Canon T50 camera, Alex fell in love with the art of visual story telling. From taking photographs of her friends, family, and pets, to developing the film and printing the images in the darkroom, Alex was drawn to the hands on process that comes with analog photography.

Unfortunately, life got in the way for Alex, and it wasn't until the summer of 2023 when she found her old camera that Alex fell back in love with the art of analog photography. Since then, she has expanded her work to include all forms of film photography, including medium and large format, and alternative photographic printing like cyanotype.

Alex loves capturing all of life's moments: the big, the small, and everything in between.
